Of course I've been bitten by that Scrappy Trip around the World too.
And now I know how I'm going to make mine: I still have a bunch of fat quarters lying around after inspiration hit me from Lily's Dead Simple Quilt.
I'll keep you posted!
Have a great weekend.

A new year and new Inspiration
You've probably been overloaded with good wishes for 2013 and you can add mine to the bulk!
After a long and dark autumn (for me) it'll better be a GREAT year.
But you have to work on that: happiness doesn't always come floating by (is my experience).
I joined two Dutch quilters to talk about a meeting of Modern Dutch Quilters: a Sew Inn, we called it.
That was in October, if I remember correctly. We set up a meeting with more quilters for January.
We invited some quilters we'd met before and others whom we only knew through the internet.
Some were ill, some didn't respond.
We met in Leiden, 30 km south of Amsterdam, which was a bit of a drive for me: I left my house at 06.45 (on a Sunday morning!). It was worth it, though!
In the spring we'll have another Sew Inn.
In the meantime, I think Eva-Marie has set up a Double Dutch Flickr page for us.
Now all I have to do is get into Flickr again as I haven't been able to do that for months; my daughter said she'd help me with that: GREAT!
