Hi, back again? That's very good of you, thanks.
I've been suffering from migraine, so it seems. Well anyway, that's what my GP told me.
I thought it was just me having a day off and sleeping all day long ;) Funny thing was it felt like I'd been drinking all night, the next morning, but I hadn't. I just thought I hadn't slept enough, or that it was thing thing women of my age go through. I'd grow over it!
By now it's every week: a few days in bed.
So the process of elimination has started: which pills work best for me. That'll do the trick, I'm sure.
If you don't hear from me within a week, you'll know why.
However, I've been working on a project I had already cut fabrics for a few months ago.
I'd cut it wrong so I slung it into a corner.
But it needed to be done and now it's nearly finished and I don't think it looks too bad.
It doesn't quite have the effect I wanted it to achieve: subtle, neutral colours, but in a way that you'd still be able to see the effect of the interlocking pinwheels. I used the tutorial of Two Dogs and a Quilt, of course.
No title yet.
Any suggestions?
PS And I've had my hair cut: really short!
Hi Betty,
ReplyDeleteI can't find an email address for you anywhere so thought I'd drop by to say thanks for your comment on my return. I'm really looking forward to getting back into the sewing although I've told myself I'm not allowed until I do the laundry. Otherwise it would sit there forever!
P.S I would call it Moulin Rouge, but I'm kind of obvious like that!
Windmill Fields? Windmills of my Mind? Blowing in the Wind? Either way it's beautiful.
