In shock

The worst thing that can happen to you as a parent is losing your child.

Yesterday a former pupil of mine, one day after her 16th birthday, died in a car crash.
Two other girls (former pupils too), ages 15 and 17, were in the car but were relatively unharmed.
And so was the 20 year old (male) driver, WHO HAS NO DRIVING LICENCE

The car ended up in a ditch and this is what was left on the motorway:

  1. That is so horrible. One life lost, two terribly scarred and another ruined forever. I doubt that 20 yr old will ever forgive herself for the silly thing she did, that turned into a terrible mistake. My thoughts are with all of them.

  2. Betty, I'm so sorry to hear that. You must be very upset.

  3. So sad... It hard to understand why someone would drive a car without having a license. And even more difficult to understand why someone would be in a car driven by someone without a license. But this is one of those accidents that unfortunately happens way to often. It will impact them all forever.

  6. Sometimes life just doesn't make sense.

I'm praying that God's peace will fill you, and the families envolved.
