but I didn't have any cash at hand (as usual). Two deliveries from the USA and I had to pay import duties. Dûh! Don't like that, but there's no choice, is there?
And I really wanted what I ordered, which I collected this morning.
Black & blues from Peg & Becca for my City Harbor quilt. (Yes, Bea!)
And the greens are 2 Radiance bundles: cotton + silk from "Mom".
No more ordering from the USA for me (for the time being).
Especially with this great offer from Michael Oakshott:
Have a lovely Easter in the snow or basking in the sun!
Wohooo... Looks like you have a fab Easter in front of you. I'm officially jealous now :)
ReplyDeleteYes am toying with that offer too!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, glorious colours! Paying import duties is one thing but most of the time you also have to wait 5/6 weeks before the fabrics are delivered. Have fun, you can play at your heart’s content!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, the import duty lottery... It was worth it though :o)
ReplyDeleteLovely packages! Do you always have to pay or does it depend on how much the content was worth? I have never ordered from the US before.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you, too ;-)
Just had to pay duty fee from one of my package from America, love the fabric, not happy about the duty fee... But that was the only way to get that fabric!
ReplyDeleteEen dikke week verder, maar Bea is aan het bijlezen ;)
ReplyDeleteYes mijn "haven" is gearriveerd!!
